Dear CS,
officially school is free, as in written in the article from the embassy. Now the reality; there are school uniforms, sport uniforms, transport, books/pens ( not supplied by the school). There is a gap between theory and reality. For many parents are the costs for school to high. The income of some parents are as low as 30.000 rupiah per day which now averages 2,5 Euro ( if they are lucky) . By the way ; I forgot that even in school some things need to be " greased" if you know what I mean.
I have visited Indonesia several times, and had the pleasure to see this proyek thrive. Stil a lot of help is needed!!

Deze week gaan de laatste mailtjes de deur uit voor de bijdrage van de schoolkinderen voor 2010. We wachten even alle reactie's af en kunnen dan de nieuwe foto's op de site (laten) zetten.
Dus mocht er bij de sponsor behoefte ontstaan voor een nieuwe foto (van de sponsor) stuur deze dan zo snel mogelijk op, zodat we ze zo snel mogelijk kunnen verwerken. Wel hebben we ondervonden dat nogal wat mensen hun mailbox vol hadden zodat de berichtjes terugkwamen. De nieuwe nieuwsbrief staat er ook aan te komen.
Ondanks dat we weer terug zijn gaat er geen dag voorbij zonder met Lombok bezig te zijn. |

Ben druk bezig met het inplannen ervan, veel festivals aangeschreven,maar van diverse organisatie nog geen berichtje ontvangen. Paaspop gaat voor ons niet door. Omdat ze het aantal kramen van 10 naar 4 hebben gebracht moeten deze 4 nu extra veel standgeld betalen en dan is al gauw de lol eraf. Op dit moment hebben we pas een tiental toezeggingen.Zodra het er iets meer zijn publiceren we dit zodat belangstellenden ons daar op kunnen zoeken |

Hoi Joep en Marijke,
Ook namens ons hartelijk dank voor de leuke verslagen, we hebben ervan genoten en kijken uit naar onze vakantie straks o.a. op Kampung Loco.
Fijn ook dat jullie konden bemiddelen in de sponsoring voor Andi, daar zijn we heel blij mee.
